A single mother, currently working part-time, has three boys and recently lost her food assistance. She is struggling to provide meals, and their food supply is running low. A $250 gift card to a local supermarket or groceries would help provide essential food for the family during this difficult time. She is actively searching for a full-time job or an additional part-time position and will also be seeking support from local food banks.

CASA Marion is the county's new organization providing certified services to victims of domestic violence and their children. Through its housing program, CASA Marion creates safety and stability for victims exiting the emergency shelter. A mom is moving into housing and is caring for four children, including two adult children with disabilities. Everyone in the household is 15 and above with two male and two female children. Her family doesn't have access to a vehicle, nor do they have a support system in the area surrounding their new home. She needs beds, a couch, dressers, a kitchen table, and chairs to make her house feel like a home and, just as importantly, to let her know that she can live free of abuse with the support of this community.

Mom is being reunified with her children. She just got her new apartment, and the reunification home study needs to be started. Mom needs the beds for the children to pass the home study. She is the mother of 5 boys and one girl, she is getting reunified with 2 boys and one girl now and she also has a 3-month-old baby under her care. She needs your help with two bunk bed frames and bedding for her two boys ages 3 & 7 and her 2-year-old little girl.

Families leaving shelters can feel they have no choice but to return to an unsafe situation due to a lack of resources. By providing two twin beds and one queen bed, you can help this family begin their next chapter with dignity, security, and the confidence to move forward.
